Just to reiterate: In our terms, any flute whose lowest note is Middle C or higher is a Soprano. Any flute whose lowest note falls between the B immediately below Middle C and the G a fourth below Middle C is an Alto. Any flute whose lowest note is lower than the G below Middle C is a Bass. Got that?
As of mid-October 2006 five of these instruments have been sold-- and as usual, the midsize ones go fastest. The remaining four are the two largest, the Bb alto, which is an odd key (fourth from the bottom), and the smallest F# minor.
